Property Details of Fuerteventura Apartment
Beautiful spacious 2 bed apartment which we let as a 1 bedroom giving the feeling of space and comfort. Furnished to a high standard which is modern and airy in a charming peaceful corner of Fuerteventura within a coastal village setting. A few minutes walk will take you to beautiful sandy beaches to suit all tastes with wonderful warm lagoons which slope gradually into the sea. An excellent variety of restaurants can be found a short walk from the apartment towards the old and new harbours of El Cotillo.
The apartment has a south facing terrace with full sunbathing furniture, parasol, table and chairs.
The apartment itself is fully equipped with 37" satellite TV, C.D stereo,D.V.D, a fully equipped kitchen with cooker/hob, large size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron/ironing board etc. and all utensils. The bedroom has a double bed with 2 bedside cabinets with lamps and large fitted wardrobes. The bathroom comes fully equipped with full size bath/shower, toilet, bidet, large sink with mirror over with make-up/shaving light.
The lounge has a large sofa and single armchair with coffee table and lamps. For your comfort there is an occilatting fan,which can be moved around. French doors open out onto the terrace ideal for eating 'al fresco'.
The dining area is comfortable and roomy with a lovely compliment of table and chairs which can seat up to 4 comfortably.
Entering the apartment into the lounge there is a spacious inner hall from which all the rooms are accessed.
Although El Cotillo has virtually no crime, we have fitted a safe for your peace of mind which of course is free for you to use.

Local Area DetailsEl Cotillo is a charming coastal village with the most beautilful beaches on the island being only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Local shops for most of your needs are nearby. A short walk will take you to some lovely restaurants and local bars near the "old and new harbours" The main area for shopping, bars, clubs etc., is Corralejo which is approximately 20 mins drive. Island attractions include Betancuria which is the former capital, La Rosita in the village of Villaverde has a small museum with Canarian garden and tobacco plantation. La Oliva (10 mins by car) with its art gallery set in beautiful gardens. The island has some of the most spectacular beaches some of which are naturist.

About Weather/Climate/TemperatureFuerteventura is sometimes known as the windy island which can be true at times but overall it's normally a little breezy with lots of sun so keeps you just comfortable. Fuerteventura has little rain although when it does rain it usually clears towards mid morning.
About BarsBars are mainly local spanish with Tapas and a couple of english run bars which are quiet and friendly.
About TransportTransport is mainly by car especially if you are self catering but bussing around the island is very easy.
About FishingFishing off the lagoons is very popular with locals and visitors.
About DrivingDriving is fairly easy in Fuerteventura but we can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken to the apartment and returned - paid locally at approx 70 euros round trip.
