Vine Cottage is set in the grounds of our Georgian country house with seven acres of fields, often with sheep or cows, gardens and orchards with badminton and boules and magnificent views to Lundy Island. We hope our guests will consider this their home in the country.The cottage has one king-size bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and one twin bedroom with full en-suite shower room.There is an attractive sitting room with TV, video and open fire.Patio windows open onto a private garden and barbecue area. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Local Area Details

Within minutes there are good beaches, some renowned for surfing, and a wide variety of small coves.Bring or hire bikes to explore the 39 mile off-road Tarka Trail. secure bike storage is available. The cottage is a central base for spectacular cliff walks; south to Clovelly and Hartland and north to the Valley of the Rocks and Lynmouth. Barnstaple and Northam are nearby and both have large indoor pools with leisure facilities.
