This magnanimous Victorian building, dating from the eighteen hundreds, is located in the heart of Long Street. You can hook up with fellow travellers in our buzzing balcony bar for a drink, look out over the bustling street below and take your pick of the bars, clubs and restaurants that line the pavement.

All rooms have a basin and hanging space; and most afford cupboards, tables and chairs. We have self-catering kitchens, a bar and lounge area with DSTV and pooltable. Our travel office can organise day tours, overland safaris, car rentals, foreign exchange, maps and anything else you wish for.

On Sundays we have a braai and free buffet. Free coffee/tea all day. Friendly staff members. Student discounts and special monthly rates during off-season.

For the adventurous, try sandboarding, learn to surf, mountain biking, abseil off Table Mountain, sea kayaking, shark diving, or do a tandem skydive.
