Peregrine Pointe is twenty minutes from Mt. Rushmore, and a short drive to Crazy Horse, Hill City Artists Community, Deadwood (where Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane lived and died), and Lead, the site of the largest gold mine in America. The Badlands National Park and the Grasslands National Park is a short 50 mile drive to the east. Devil's Tower is a day trip. Custer State Park and the Game Lodge (Calvin Coolidge's Summer White House)are a short drive to the south. Also found in that area are Wind Cave National Monument and Jewel Cave National Monument. See buffalo, deer, elk, antelope, coyotes, prairie dogs, wild donkeys, and wild horses roam free.
