Pisa Florence, Siena and Assisi, to name but a few, are all within easy reach.Cortona, the medieval hill town, is only fifteen minutes drive from Mulino dello Zoppo. This town has become renowned from the well read book, "Under The Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes, And we would highly recommend a visit during your stay.
For those who wish to experience the area at a more leisurely pace there are a selection of bicycles available for you to use. You can cycle or walk, by road or on tracks, to the small local store and cafe where necessary supplies can be bought. Naturally there are a choice of larger supermarkets in the local area for a more comprehensive shop.
