5 Reeds House is a spacious 1,400 sq. ft. luxury beach level home with its own private spa pool and sun deck only paces from the waters edge.

Reeds House is an exclusive development of just 14 privately owned homes and is situated on a secluded beach with safe swimming and interesting snorkelling, in one of the most sought after locations in St. James on the West coast of Barbados between the Royal Pavilion Hotel and Mullins Beach.

Your chef attends to the housekeeping and personally looks after guests, she looks after not only the day-to-day cleaning of the apartment, but will also take care of your personal laundry. Dine by candlelight on your own private terrace having selected your dishes, which will then be expertly prepared and served, just sit back, relax and enjoy your holiday. Should you wish an evening meal of your choice can be prepared for you on the day on which you arrive.

Reeds House has a permanent staff of 5 consisting of Mark who is our maintenance manager, Adrian who tends to our secluded beach and the gardens, a night watchman who is on duty through the night for added security and Dionne who is our receptionist who can assist you in restaurant reservations, tours etc. The reception has both fax and email facilities. Finally Dirk Da Silva who is the general manager of Reeds House.

I will be pleased to arrange private air-conditioned taxi transfers to and from Reeds House, alternatively, should you wish to hire a car I would be happy to make the necessary arrangements on your behalf and the car can be delivered to you either at the airport or at Reeds House.

Should you be interested in holidaying at Reeds House, please contact me as soon as you are able as I receive enquiries on a daily basis and would not want to disappoint you due to lack of availability.

Like hotels, we provide everything necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible, all beach and bath linen are provided, bed linen is changed twice a week and beach and bath towels are changed as required.

Unlike hotels, we take into consideration that most flights depart Barbados late afternoon and every effort will is made to allow guests the use of 3 Reeds House up to three hours prior to flight departure thus enabling you to relax and make the most of your last day in Barbados. This of course is by prior arrangement.

Local Area Details

There are supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive away with a wide and varied selection of foods. It may be prudent that at the beginning of your holiday you visit the supermarket with your maid who will assist you in selecting your purchases.

Within a short driving distance you will find a host of different restaurants all covering the full range of cuisine - both local and international. Barbados benefits from some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean.
It is recommended that you book your table in advance, but beware during the winter season, tables at some of the best restaurants need to be booked several days in advance.
