Cat Island is known for it's excellent bone fishing.....
It is the highest elevation of all the 700 Bahamian islands....
A visit to the Hermitage is a must...A missionary built a small praying house at the top and created a path with the stations of the cross to take you there..Take a camera with you as you will be able to look over the whole island from the top....
Beach combing on the ocean side is an adventure...You never know what you may find there.
You may want to explore the many caves located throughout the island...
