This 1700's Georgian Country House Bed & Breakfast is set in gardens and paddocks of five acres in a secluded valley within the Royal Forest of Dean. A millstream runs through the grounds to the adjacent derelict mill building, listed as an Ancient Monument by English Heritage. The 27,000 acres of the Forest offer endless opportunities for walking, driving, pony-trekking, trail cycling, canoeing or just admiring the sheer beauty of the countryside and spectacular Wye Valley.
Return in the evenings to the tranquillity of Gunn Mill House with our galleried sitting room, large en suite bedrooms and self-contained cottage style suites. Share our love of good food, starting your day with freshly squeezed orange juice, home made breads and preserves and a hearty English breakfast.
All rooms have TV, tea/coffee making facilities, shoe-cleaning kit, and alarm clocks. This is our home so hopefully we can supply almost anything you may have forgotten, or need, to make your stay more enjoyable - a hairdryer, iron and board, wet-weather gear - all available on request. We are reformed smokers so our house is most definitely a No Smoking Zone. We are happy to welcome children and pets, but please by prior arrangement only.
