There are two apartments; a top one and a bottom one as shown in the picture on the right.
The bottom one has two double bedrooms, one kitchen (with fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc), a lounge (with TV) and two bathrooms.
The top apartment has three bedrooms; two double and one single, two bathrooms, a kitchen (with fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc), a small store room, a lounge (with TV) and an interior covered patio. In both of the apartments the electric appliances are brand new and in perfect conditions.

Services and leisure facilities

· Bar-restaurant- (50 metres) an old small traditional Canarian restaurant where food typical of the Canary Islands is served.

· Small grocery shop (100 metres away).

· Health Centre (100 metres away).

· Apart from these services, in the village of San Pedro there are several bars and small food stores, at approximately 400 metres away from the apartments.

· Right by the Camino de Tamadaba footpath the apartments are in an ideal place to hike, allowing people to see places that are unreachable by car. Moreover there are connections from this footpath to other ones that lead to places such as Artenara, which is in the heart of Gran Canaria.

Local Area Details

The 'Camino Tamadaba' apartments (please bear in mind that they are two apartments in rural surroundings, but not a rural house as such) are located between two fruit farms in the fertile Valle de Agaete (Agaete Valley), in the north-west of Gran Canaria. One of these fruit farms consists of orange trees while in the other one a range of fruits including mangos, papayas, grapes, avocados, lemons, figs, melons, water melons, are grown. Isolated from the busy urban life, it is situated in an area that is ideal to relax in and to do some outdoor sports such as hiking. This is due to the fact that the house is literally by one of the island's most popular 'camino real'. A 'camino real' is an old footpath used in the past as a means of transport before the use of vehicles came into practice. The mentioned footpath is called the 'Camino Real de Tamabada' and leads up to the mountains of Tamadaba. Each year it used in the traditional 'Bajada de la Rama'. An aboriginal tradition where hundreds of people walk up to the mountains to collect branches from the trees and then walk down to the beach in Agaete, while they sing and dance, and hit the sea water with their branches.

There is also a beach, La Playa de Las Nieves, barely 10 minutes away by car. Ferries go from here to the opposite island, Tenerife, on a regular basis every day.
