Property Details of Scotland Lodge

The lodges are set into the hillside in an elevated position each with panoramic views across the glen to the surrounding mountains and pine forests. The lodges are constructed of solid round pine logs, interlocked together to form a substantial well insulated construction capable of withstanding the coldest winter. There is a picnic table to each lodge.
There are four spacious six berth lodges with 23’x 12’ lounge/ kitchen dining area and three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), all of which have wardrobes, dressing tables and bedside cabinets. Bed linen is provided, except for towels. The lounge has a colour TV, DVD dining and lounge furniture.The bathrooms consist of bath, with an overhead shower, toilet and washbasin, wall heater, electric shaving point and bathroom cabinet. The lodges are fully carpeted throughout with the exception of the bathroom and kitchen area which are fitted with cushioned vinyl floor covering. They are all electrically heated and double-glazed.
Each has a well-equipped kitchen including cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster etc. All lodges are equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, and smoke alarms. A separate laundry room is available. Pets are welcome, but must be supervised at all times, especially when outside the Lodges. We ask that you keep them on a leash; this is to protect a number of our own animals that graze close to the vicinity of the Lodges. Cots and high chairs are available.

Local Area Details

We are a small working farm with a fine selection of animals. On the edge of Invergarry, and close to the Great Glen way/cycle Track, the peaceful rural location of Ardgarry Farm is an ideal base for touring. Numerous outdoor pursuits can be accessed locally, or a short drive away. They include Salmon/Trout fishing, pony trekking, climbing or skiing and most water sports, there are eight golf courses that can be reached in around an hours drive. Walking or cycling on a number of the cycle routes and forest walks some of which start at Invergarry. Bike hire available.
