We are located in the hamlet of Diglea a small cluster of houses surrounded by stunning views and open fields. Come and experience the moods of the Pennines, escape lifes hectic pace and relax with the scenery of Saddleworth. There is a village pub 100 yards down the lane which serves excellent food and a wide range of beers, at weekends they hold Band Concerts for those enjoying Brass. There is ample safe parking for vehicles.

Local Area Details

Diglea, Diggle, is one of the villages making up the area known as Saddleworth at the edge of Saddleworth Moor which leads over to Holmfirth where they film (Last of the Summer Wine). All the villages are pretty with historic buildings and unique features. There are lovely little gift shops, Saddleworth Museum, and Art Gallery, along with a garden centre and a Canal boat trip which goes through a number of locks on its journey. We are located close to the motorway network and 3o minutes away from Manchester with its Theatres, Art Galleries, Lowry Centre and of course the shops and Trafford Centre. The area is ideal for walking or horseriding or just leisurely walking the canal towpaths. For the more energetic, there is some excellent rock climbing. There really is something for everyone.
