Villa Belo is a new property in a great location. Just a 15 minute walk from the historic cobbled streets of Lagos town centre, the marina, and an abundance of local restaurants and bars. A 15 minute walk from the villa also brings you to a pretty, sandy beach. Sleeping 10 people comfortably, the villa is spacious and generously equipped, with its own pool and games room. It is ideal for families, with plenty of activities like water-parks, dolphin watching, and horse riding close by. For golfers, there is a wealth of championship quality courses within easy reach. Built in 2002, Villa Belo has been beautifully furnished and equipped with everything needed for a fabulous holiday. The living room is comfortable and spacious, with dual aspect patio doors that open onto the large sun terrace, and have views over the pool. There is a stereo, satellite tv, and a small library of books, CDs, and board games. For people taking winter breaks, the villa has wall heaters, and an open fireplace in the living room in case the evenings get chilly. Leading from the living room is the kitchen/dining room, which is generously equipped, with dishwasher, washing machine, wicrowave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, and all the usual crockery and pots and pans. There is a large dining table for 10, and a high chair. The upper floor houses 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) which all have access to the terrace, and 2 bathrooms. There is a further twin bedroom and bathroom on middle floor. The lower level of the villa is the games room. This room is divided into 2 areas, one housing the ping pong table, and the other being a 'bedroom' area with 2 single beds and a separate WC. This is not suitable for younger children as it has its own separate entrance via the garden, but makes ideal accommodation for teenagers or adults who want a little more privacy. The villa is built on a hill, so from the terrace there are views over the rooftops of Lagos town, down towards the sea, and in the other direction over the hills. South-facing, the terraces are the place for sunbathing, as they benefit from the gorgeous Portuguese weather all day long, catching the sun from morning to evening. Fully equipped with sunloungers, barbecue and outdoor tables and chairs, its also a great place for alfresco dining in the evening and watching the sunset. Steps lead down from the terrace to the garden. As the villa is brand new, the garden has not yet had a chance to mature, but is well stocked and growing all the time! The garden is landscaped using the local rock, and a stepped path leads past the pool and down to the games room. The pool is 7 metres long, and well sheltered from the sea breeze by fencing along the side. Next to the pool there is a cute little patio, and a couple more sunloungers. Welcome packs of bread, milk, tea etc provided on arrival. Linen changes & maid service twice a week. 24 hour local on-call service in case of emergencies.
