The house has been recently refurbished and is tastefully decorated, with cool ceramic tiles throughout. It consists of living room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a large spacious attic room upstairs with twin beds. There is a small terrace off from the attic room and a large terrace at the front of the house with covered shade. The house is on the front row of the beach at Torrenueva and has no passing traffic so is completely safe for children to run out from the front patio on to the beach. Torrenueva is a small seaside village with plenty of bars & restaurants, small shops, a bank, post office, all that you would need to make your holiday complete. You don´t have to have a car to enjoy this holiday as there is everything there that you could want but if you did have a car there are numerous places of interest to visit in the area; Granada with it´s famous Alhambra palace, Nerja caves, the Alpujarra villages, the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada.

Local Area Details

Torrenueva is a small seaside village approx 4kms from the town of Motril. This is where all the Spanish have their second homes, so it is very busy in the summer and slightly deserted in the winter. There is a very jovial atmosphere with all the families congregating together, the Spanish really know how to enjoy themselves. Torrenueva has numerous fish restaurants and you can see the fish brought in fresh straight off the boats.Torrenueva is a central point for all the other attractions in the area. It is mid way between Malaga, Almeria & Granada. Motril is the closest town and there they have all the amenities that you could possibly want.
