We are very conveniently located in the heart of the Arts & Crafts Community only 4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg.
Relax in the beauty, comfort and safety of a private home, which is very well maintained and cared for. Our tastefully decorated chalet, Bearskin Ridge, is perfectly suitable for your honeymoon, anniversary, family vacation or weekend getaway.
Convenience and location are prime advantages. All roads to Bearskin Ridge are paved and provide easy roadway access for all vehicles, which makes visiting any time of the year effortless. If you have ever driven on Ski Mountain Road and across Wiley Oakley Road you know how difficult winding, twisting and steeply sloped roads can be to travel on.
Our spacious cedar chalet is ideally located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts community. Bearskin Ridge is centrally located just minutes away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee. In fact, it is only 4.9 miles from our driveway to red-light number 3 in downtown Gatlinburg.
Our 1500 sq foot plus cedar chalet consists of two stories with wide comfortable steps to the second floor. Enter through the front door and you will find a full size kitchen with all the comforts of home. The dining table has seating for four. The living room boasts a 32in stereo color TV with VCR, sofa, 2 high back chairs, natural gas native stone fireplace and a large picture window with a view of Smoky Mountain National Park. Also located on the first floor at the stairway is a generously sized powder room/half bath. The first floor boasts a master bedroom with king size bed, closet, 25in stereo color TV, dresser, night stands, clock radio, telephone, CD player and full bath with tub and shower. Just outside the bedroom is a covered first floor deck, which extends the entire width of the house. It has a hot tub, charcoal grill and table with chairs.
As you ascend the steps to the second floor you can not help but stop to gaze into the distant mountain range. To the right is a large 24ft by 15ft game and recreation room with full size pool table, another 32in stereo color TV, DVD player, CD player, large window with view, 2 sofas, oak snack table, rocker and a game chest with various games for the family or couples. Also located here is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron as well as a small desk.
To the left, at the top of the steps, is the second master bedroom with a king size bed, closet, 25in stereo color TV, dresser, night stands clock radio, telephone, CD player and a full bath with tub and shower. Just outside this bedroom is the second floor deck that also extends the entire width of the house. It is covered so that you can enjoy the scenery in any weather. You will find a log rocker, a double log rocker, a table and several other chairs here.
