This is a birdwatcher's paradise and Fisherman's haven. Nestle down and relax in the newly renovated home, completely refinished by local craftsmen with a lot of myrtlewood and black walnut. The neighborhood wildlife can sometimes be seen as they come by for a visit: bear, deer, elk, bald eagles, blue heron, kingfishers, ducks, beaver, otter, owls, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and numerous song birds. Bring your boat or arrange for a charter to pick you up and head out to the river, bay or the ocean (a private tidal dock and canoe is available). This property is located only ~5 miles from the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area where there are numerous trails to the beach and plenty of areas to explore. Almost all of our guests comment on how pleasantly quiet it is.
