Murder Weekends provide you with the opportunity to be a detective and to involve yourself in the authentic and sophisticated murder investigation. You will be provided with a totally realistic modern day investigation into a reported homicide. Former murder squad detectives specially tailor the programme to suit these needs. Retired Detective Chief Inspector Terry Cook decided to run a more authentic murder weekend after attending a traditional Agatha Christie-style weekend. Mr Cook and three retired colleagues run the weekend and participants have to call the senior-investigating officer SIR. A special newspaper is published after the killing. These cases are based, as far as possible, on genuine murders and are authentic in every detail including scene of crime, forensic reports, pathologists report, interviewing of witnesses/suspects. Everything is co-ordinated from an incident room by one of the former senior detectives, who will give guidance and assistance relating to: Interview skills, body language, questioning and listening skills, how investigations are co-ordinated, how murders have been solved. Whether or not you wish to full immerse yourself in the enquiries and interviews or simply sit back and enjoy the efforts of others, you are sure to enjoy your Murder Weekend at the Best Western Guide Post Hotel - Bradford.
