Quinta do Monte Santo is situated in a rural area, in the area of Lagoí®¨as, in the beautiful island of Santa Maria, next to a panoramic watching point, 8 Km from the town of Vila do Porto. It is also near Baí¡ do Tagarete and Ilheu das Lagoí®¨as, an excellent place to explore the sea depths or even to do some deep-sea fishing. ?The houses are served by public transportation four times a day, daily bread (and other food supplies) distribution. With view to the sea, to Ilheu das Formigas and to the south coast of the island of Sao Miguel, this island offers its visitants a calm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for spending some relaxing holidays. This Quinta rents two centenary semi-dettached houses, recently renovated, surrounded by a large green area where you can find grill, tables, armchairs and a private parking lot. The houses consist of a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room; the living room is decorated with typical Azorean rural elements, and equipped so that the guests are in a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. Each house sleeps 2 persons, self catering. There is to the guests disposal a laundry room, with washing and drying machine, iron and ironing board. Even though the houses were renovated, they did not lose any of their characteristics of typical houses of Santa Maria.
