This medieval building newly restored is located in the heart of the VIENS village ; a Medieval village in front of the Luberon mountain, 461 Inhabitants, altitude: 630 m.

All the rooms in the house "CHARPIN" are south exposed and very enlighted. 4 bedrooms (3 with double beds and one with 2 single beds and folding bed), 3 bathrooms-WC (one private to a bedroom), a large dining-room (+ fireplace) with a kitchen area fully equiped. Lounge (3 sofa beds) and game-room for children are composed by an archway made of medieval stone. A terrace equiped (20 m2) on the top offers a beautiful panorama over the Luberon mountain and the countryside.
Lot of amenities: dish-washer, washing-machine, electric-plates, oven, freezer-fridge, TV satellite, phone.
Local Area Details"Charpin" House is situated 7 km far away of our farm "Les Laurons".
The Farm
This ancient hamlet built centuries ago, nestled in the heart of the "LUBERON Natural Park", is ideal to do touring in all Provence (60 Km from Avignon and Aix en Provence, 100 Km from Marseille, Arles, Nimes and Orange) and stay in a serene atmosphere.
Surrounded by fields and forest hills, the "Laurons" offers a marvellous view on the LUBERON and the countryside. This ancient houses were recently restored according to the old tradition of Provence.
Since generations, the family of the owner is living in the farm, breeding sheeps and growing lavanders, cherry and apricot trees ...
You will be delighted during your May-June stay by the cherries and by apricots during your July stay. You can enjoy this fruits as many as you want, be sure you cannot be able to eat all.
The Area
In addition to the picturesque villages which are the soul of the LUBERON (Gordes, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Buoux ... ) described in the famous Peter Mayle's Novels; you will discover medieval villages less touristic but so beautiful, keeping their soul.
Located in the heart of Provence: Avignon, Aix en Provence and les Baux de Provence (Alpilles) 1 h by car, Marseilles, Arles and le Verdon (1.5h).
The quietness and serenity of the area go along with a lot of outdoor activities: swimming and horseback riding on the farm. Nearby: mountain bike, climbing, paragliding, hiking, golf, tennis, archery, canoe, windsurfing, fishing, canyoning ...

We rent Saturday (from 5 pm) to Saturday (until 9-10 am). (Nevertheless, it's possible to arrive before 5pm and you can put your luggage in the house.)
