Aloha! Welcome to Kauai and our completely furnished, 2 Br, 2 Ba, spacious end unit Townhouse on the "Garden Isle". Our Townhouse is situated inside the area of 2 Championship Golf Courses, the Prince and Makai, plus a large swimming pool next door.
Come in, sit down and relax while enjoying a cooling beverage. All you need is food to start your vacation at our Townhouse. All linens provided, full kitchen, in-unit laundry. 3 Queen size beds & King size daybed. Ceiling fans and jalousie windows enhance the cooling Trade Wind breezes. Great Room with TV, DVD, AM/FM & CD player. Paperback exchange library for reading after a long day at the beach. Stroll on the bluff to watch the ocean, sunsets and whale migration "Parade", December through March. Take the dirt path down the bluff for ocean swimming and snorkeling at Anini beach. Other recreation and shopping close by or within a few minutes by auto.
Come to visit and play hard. Then go on tour or "Shop Til You Drop"! Take "Some Enchanted Evening", to go out for dining and dancing at the many restaurants and night clubs available. Choose from many seafood, a vegatarian or meat choices on the menus! Competition makes for many great dinner ceations! Come and enjoy!
Local Area DetailsUpon arrival at Lihue Airport, with your luggage and rental auto, start your leisure and scenic drive north to Princeville. On the way, view the local villages, the blue Pacific Ocean and beautiful natural scenery with many blossoming trees, vines and shrubs. Kauai has 2 navigable rivers and many waterfalls.
Local recreational activity includes Golf, swimming, snorkeling, Scuba, boat charters for touring, sunset dinners or bill fishing. Take a hike on the Na Pali Cliff State Park trail. 11 miles of rough trail across the cliff face. Go horseback riding on trails to hidden waterfalls! You can kayak both rivers and on the ocean. Take helicopter tours, movie site tours, cultural tours and shopping tours! Want some nervy fun? Try the new ZIP ride going across the tree tops! Swimming equipment rentals, (Tanks, snorkel, fins, mask, etc.) are available locally. The movie tour takes you to sites used for making "Jurassic Park", "South Pacific", and others. Many nice shops, restaurants, and night clubs. Kauai is a beautiful island, with a slower pace, minimal development and much natural scenery to make you want to stay longer than you planned for. Additional InformationAbout Weather/Climate/Temperature Warm tropical temperatures 70-9o's. Humidity low in winter months and higher in summer; 50-85% range. Winter months bring a change in the current which starts the Whale migration from Alaskan waters to the islands during their mating season. The parade of whales off the coast is a sight to see!
About Scenery/Beauty Spots The island is bursting with many tropical blossoms, trees and shrubs. A great place to see your home plants like Hibiscus, Poinsettias, growing in natural settings.
By the sea are Kilauea Lighthouse and Bird sanctuary, Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Cliff State Park. Inland find Kokee State Park. Tour around the island to see the old towns and their cultural heritage.
