Casa Rosa, a peaceful quiet hideaway between the sea and the un-spoilt rural Algarve midway between the lovely old town of Tavira and the city of Faro. We are just a short drive from some beautiful beaches and within easy reach of the offshore sandbar island of Amona. The scent of wild flowers prevails and in the beautiful almost untouched hillsides long ago customs and traditions still persist. Our villa apartments are ideal for couples looking for a relaxing break away from the crowded tourist resorts.

Local Area Details

The location of Casa Rosa, just outside the historic village on Moncarapacho, makes it perfect for discovering the treasures of the Eastern Algarve. Car hire is highly recommended.
Some outstanding secluded restaurants are just within a few minutes drive and on the seafront in Olhão you can take your pick of restaurants serving some of the best and freshest fish and seafood anywhere in the world.
 This very quiet and unspoilt area with it's rolling hills and sea views still enjoys the traditional way of life where the local farmers can be seen transporting their goods via horse and cart.

The market town of Moncarapacho with it's Bars and Restaurants serving excellent and reasonably priced food, much cheaper than to the west of the Algarve, is only a 15-minute walk away. In Moncarapacho you will also find banks, post office, chemist, doctors, Mini Markets and a large supermarket.

The local Beach Island at Fuzeta (4Kms) is one of the best in the Algarve
Some of the biggest and best water splash parks in Europe are found 25 - 40 minutes away.

Supreme Golf courses such as Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago, Benamor, Quinta da Ria/Cima and Castro Marim are all within 30 minutes of Casa Rosa.

On the first Sunday of the month, it is in our local village of Moncarapacho.
For those guests who do not want to just stay on the beach or by the pool and want to see more of the Algarve then a circular drive through Moncarapacho, Estói, Olhão and Tavira is well worth undertaking.
This is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, sit or sunbathe around our lovely clear swimming pool.
The sun shines here almost all of the time.
