ALoft In Victoria A Suite Full of Serenity Canada
Studio in British Columbia, Canada
Property Details of British Columbia Studio
Our intimately situated loft in the quiet neighbourhood of Victoria's Gordon Head is an invitation to serenity. Open, airy, well-lit, and very private, it's situated over the garage of our architect-designed home. With its elegant custom woodwork and soft, natural lighting, this suite is perfect for those with the aesthetic sense to appreciate fine, creative details. And it's ideal for those who want a sensuously romantic getaway. The deluxe, spacious bedroom is open and integral with the suite, which features sunset and sunrise views over the treetops, and out into gardens.
A spacious roof garden with comfortable wooden deck chairs and ottomans makes lounging in complete privacy very inviting and relaxing. There are pots and containers all around the deck that are filled with annual flowers, colourful grasses, roses, and clematis climbing a cedar privacy screen. Pick your own herbs and vegetables in season; prepare them in the impeccable kitchen, which is outfitted with everything that the owners like in their own home -- right down to the corkscrew and champagne glasses. Dine at the custom maple table overlooking this peaceful roof-top garden.
A sliding glass door and dining room window look east into the roof garden -- and up over distant treetops to the sky. Tall windows near the bed face west -- partially into a neighbouring garden, through vines and trees. Four obscure-glass windows help to further softly light this charming, one-of-a-kind getaway.
