FLEXIBLE OPTIONS FOR LARGE GROUPS
The Mistral Villas Family offers self-catering rental opportunities all year round flexible packages for large groups over multiple villas can be arranged.
Villa Crista can accommodate 16 people - all in bedrooms (up to 3 more can be accommodated in the Games Room which has its' own bathroom), so it can accommodate 19 people.
Villa Maria can accommodate 16 people - all in bedrooms (up to 4 more can be accommodated on beds in the integral garage) this means up to 20 people can be accommodated.
Villa Elisa can accommodate 8 people - all in bedrooms (up to 4 people can be accommodated on beds in the integral garage) this means up to 12 people can be accommodated.

HOW TO GET TO THE MISTRAL VILLAS FAMILY
For convenience, we recommend hiring a car at the airport together with your flight. Europcar offer competative rates and are available of of Barcelona and Reus Airports. Don't leave it too late to book a car in high season as demand can outstrip supply.

For airports - you have 2 choices. You can fly to Reus(Salou) with Ryan-air or Airtours etc, followed by a 45-minute drive south to the villas. Alternatively, use Barcelona airport with Easyjet etc, followed by a 1 hour 15 minute drive south.

TRANSPORT ALTERNATIVES
There is a good costal train service with regular departures to Barcelona / Port Aventura (The Universal Studios Theme Park/Water Park). Plus Reus airport, Reus (you'll have to change at Tarragona) & Barcelona Airport (which is on the direct through line into City of Barcelona).

HOW TO BOOK
You can book with a cheque to our UK address or transfer money to Spain.

One week time slots for allocation generally run from:
Saturday to Saturday in high season - we are flexible in the low season if you want to take advantage of cheaper mid-week flights.

The low-cost airline www.ryanair.com fly daily each morning and afternoon from a selection of UK airports, see table above.

Please note:
Villa allocation starts at 2pm.
Villa allocation ends at 10am.

Please understand every minute of this 4-hour window is vital for staff to fully prepare the villa between bookings. Please do not arrive earlier than 2pm (unless arrangements for early arrival are made) or depart later than 10am at the end of your stay. We can only accommodate early arrivals by clear prior arrangement

Please bring your own beach towels.
We ask that you use them on the sun loungers to keep sun oil / lotion off the cushions.

Local Area Details

The coastline here is full of small isolated coves as well as larger sweeping beaches. It reminds me (in places) of parts of Dorset, England.

The whole coast is green and fertile and mountain ranges sweep up from the coastal plain towards the Pyranees Mountains to the North West.

The Port Aventura (A Universal Studios Theme Park), www.portaventura.com, is situated in Salou which is a short car or train journey away. It has a big rides like Alton Towers and a large Water Park all on the coast.

Barcelona and Valencia are a daytrip away by train and are a must for shoppers or sightseeing. If you love these pastimes Tarragona and Reus are also full of treasures.

The beautiful Bonmont golf course is 20 minutes away from the villa and has a tremendous clubhouse for lunch & views, even if the golf does not tempt you.

Surrounded by beaches and delightful typical Spanish fishing towns dotted along the coast, the region surrounding L'Ametlla De Mar has a lot to offer all ages and interests. Such as, great windsurfing (flat water blasting) down on the Ebre Delta (20km south at L'Ampolla).
Fishing opportunities all the way up into the mountain ranges surrounding the the great River Ebre.
Of course there is lots of local culture and historic sites of interest too.
