Relax and enjoy your holiday here in Brittany in our sixteenth century farmhouse gite complex which has 3 properties, one with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, one with 2 bedrooms and one with 3 bedrooms, and a large pool which is about 12m x 5m x 1.2m deep including a paddling area for the little ones. They are all very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas cooker, English television/video, radio/CD/cassette player, etc, and have their own garden area with swings, a barbecue, table, chairs and parasols. There is also a play small barn with table and chairs and indoor and outdoor games, videos, etc.
Local Area DetailsWe are situated in the delightful hamlet of Rosquelfen with its historic sixteenth century chapel in a popular but quiet walking area overlooking the Forest of Quenecan and the fabulous Gorges du Daoualas with its standing stones and long barrows. But the bustling town of Gouarec is just a 15 minute walk away situated on the junction of the River Blavet and the Nantes/Brest Canal and herre you will find everything you need: shops, banks, bars, restaurants, indoor swimming pool, etc. Lac de Guerledan is about 8kms and here you can enjoy various watersports including fishing, sailing and swimming. The north Brittany coast is about 40 minutes by car and here you will find not just lovely sandy beaches but also rock pools for the children to try their hand at crabbing, and wonderful restaurants serving really fresh fish and seafood. For those who enjoy sightseeing then Pontivy with its Castle of the Rohan and Josselin which also has a stunning mediaeval castle are just a short drive away.
