The apartment is 70 sq.meters large, composed by a spacious living room with large fully equipped kitchen, seating for 6, and 2 sofa-single beds; A master double bedroom with ensuite-bathroom, a second bedroom (double or twin beds) with a second bathroom. All the rooms have air conditioner. Outside: Equipped area for having meal outside with seating for 6. In the The Cottage: Is a pretty independent small house located in the same garden, sleeping 4, and composed by a living/dining room with kitchen area fully equipped, two single sofa-beds, a double bedroom with exit to the equipped terrace, and a bathroom.
The property is 500 meters right below the town hill of Bracciano with the majestic Castle Odescalchi and 1 km from the railway station (line Rome-Viterbo). Both the accommodations are provided of Satellite TV, washing machine, parking, bedding and towels with weekly change, final cleaning, use of the pool. The owners, who live upstairs, are at disposal for any help and suggestion.

Local Area Details

The regional park of the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano is a protected area, with various centres, principally rural, that with their gastronomic and village traditions make this an ideal place to stay for a while. The lake is vorbidden to the motors. The town of Bracciano count 14.000 inhabitans, is 280 m. above sea level, in a deligthful location with his historical medioeval center and the majestic Odescalchi Castle, which is privately owned, but open to the public for guided tours.
At 5 km you can visit the Botanical Gardens of S. Liberato (2nd in importance in Europe), where you can also admire the oldest bell-tower of the world. We can also recommend a boat trip on the lake with the "tragetto", a visit to the Aeronautical Museum at Vigna di Valle at 2 km.
Archaeology: There are numerous Etruscan excavations within easy distance, like Tarquinia and Cerveteri, and of course, ROME!!.
In the nearby: the fantastic Farnese Palace at Caprarola, the Cathedral at Orvieto, the artistic-village of Calcata, Oriolo Romano with its portrait-gallery of all the popes, from S. Peter to Woytila, in the Altieri Palace, Viterbo with its beautiful medieval centre and the Papal Palace, and the lovely old villages glued to the mountains.
Nature: You can spend a day at the beautiful Mediterranean beach at only 15 km., or go to the Falls at Marmore (Terni), visit the "Treja Park", the forest reserves of Canale Monterano o Manziana and the "Caldara" with its geysers, of sulphurous water.
