This comfortable holiday-home built in Provencal style is situated in a beautifully laid-out domain consisting of 29 privately-owned houses. The residence was built five years ago and since then the gardengreens have gained a good-sized height. In addition some of the old trees on the terrain heve been spared. The house stands in its own grounds on 700 m. There is a caretaker who lives at the entrance of the domain. The entrance gate is only to be opened with a coded ticket. This makes you feel safe at night, while in the daytime you don`t need to worry about your belongings when leaving the domain. Geography: living with built-in kitchen (ceramic hot plate with four rings, oven, dishwasher), mezzanine, three bedrooms, bathroom with bath and w.c., separate shower, separate w.c., garage, covered terrace. The house is fitted with all modern conveniances, thus a washing machine, microwave and dishwasher belong tot the inventory
In fact the domain is part of a reidential quarter of the village of Nans-les-Pins. The center of this small Provence village lies at a distance of 3 km. Here you can make all your everyday purchases. On Sunday morrnings there is a local market. It has several restaurants and caterers. Nans lies at the foot of the imposing mountain of La Sainte Beaume, the illustrious land of Marcel Pagnol. In the neighbourhood you can take wonderful walks. The village is intersected by Grand Randonnees 9 and 9A. You can get seceral routes at the local tourist board. Nans is a recognized health-resort thanks to its pure air. 18-holes golfcourse, with golfschool and practicing field is magnificently situated, facing the Sainte Beaume. It is an open golf course at a distance of only 1 km. from the house

Nearby Attractions
At a distance of 11 km. stands St. Maximin. A lively little town with an imposant medieval cathedral. In the crypt, according to the legend, lies the skull of Maria Magdalin, who in her later years did penance on the mountain of La Sainte Beaume. In St. Maximin you`ll find a wide choice of shops and two supermarkets. You can buy good wine of the region at the co-operative winestore. There is among others, a fine restaurant und er the arches of the former convent. Further a lot of picturesque villages and landscapes in the vicinity.
Aix-en-Provence is accessible via motorway as well as by short cut. In both cases it will take three quarters of an hour tot get to the heart of the city. Enough parking facilities. The Cours Mirabeau, shaded by its high plane-trees ranks with the most attrective boulevards of France. Nor is the Cours the only place in this town where you can enjoy a drink or meal on a cafe pavement. Aix is mainly renowned for its yearly music festival.
From the seaside resorts is Cassis closest by(35 km.) It is situated at a beautiful bay. The beach, however, is not very suitable for children.If you prefer a sandy and safe beach you`d better go to Les Lecques. It is a few kilometers further, but if you take the motorway you can reach it in three quarters of an hour from Nans. Sanary-sur-Mer, a few kilometers westward from Les-Lecques is also an agreeable and romantic seaside resort.
Do you like big towns and/or bouillabaise: Marseille and Toulon are close at hand
