Relax and enjoy your holiday here in Brittany in our sixteenth century cenrally heated farmhouse which has 2 letting bedrooms: one has a double bed and en suite, and can accommodate up to 3 children as well; the other has a king sized bed and has a shared bathroom at present.

We also offer evening meals on request and will cater for special diets.

We have an Old English Sheepdog but we may allow small dogs - assuming they get on with ours!

We are non-smoking indoors but smokers can smoke outside or in our barn.

Local Area Details

We are situated in the delightful historic hamlet of Rosquelfen which is a conservation area and has a sixteenth century chapel. It is a popular but quiet walking area overlooking the Forest of Quenecan and the wonderful Gorge du Daoualas and Les Landes des Liscuis with its standing stones and long barrows. But the bustling town of Gouarec is just a 15 minute walk away situated on the junction of the River Blavet and the Nantes/Brest Canal and here you will find everything you need: shops, banks, bars, restaurants, indoor swimming pool, mini golf, etc. Lac de Guerledan is about 8kms and here you can enjoy various watersports including waterski-ing, pedaloes, fishing, swimming, lake cruises and so on. The north Brittany coast is about 40 minutes by car and here you will find not just lovely sandy beaches but also rock pools for the children to try their hand at crabbing, and wonderful restaurants serving really fresh fish and seafood. For those who enjoy sightseeing then Pontivy with its Castle of the Rohans and Josselin which also has a stunning mediaeval castle are both just a short drive away.
