This apartment is situated on the Baan Chai Nam Estate, Bang Tao beach. The apartment is located on the middle floor and comprises 2 levels. One enters the home on the open plan living/ dining / kitchen level.
The living area has a balcony that overlooks the beachfront pool and the sea. Equipped with air-conditioning throught, the living area is equipped with cable TV, and CD VDC player. Comfy couches abound.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar for quick bits en rout to the pool or there is a dining table for more formal occasions.
The guest bedroom has 2x single beds and is adjoining the living room. The guest bathroom is not en suite but adjacent.
The most notable feature about this home is the mezzanine level which enhances the feeling of space. The mezzanine level is accessed up a "lamphur" wood staircase and leads to an informal lounge, terrace deck and master bedroom.
The generous master beroom is ensuite and is entered through double doors to the king size bed and chez lounge.
Local Area DetailsBang Tao Beach, almost 11 km in length is clearly the focus on the Estate. Situated at the southernmost end of the beach, you are left to quiet contemplation without the more intrusive vendors and water sport activities associated with other nearby beaches. For those needing a more upbeat beach experience, Surin, Leam Seng and Kamala are ideal with jet ski, water ski and parasailing available. The Laguna golf course is a mere 5 minutes drive and the renown Blue Canyon Golf and Country Club 30 minutes drive from the house. The Laguna hotel complex offers tennis, squash and resort activities for a nominal daily charge with horse riding on the beach available from the local stables in Cherng Talay.
Phuket pulls no punches in the food department. Available from road side stalls, local markets to 6 star Amanpuri Resort dining, it is all practically on the doorstep. Bang Tao and nearby Surin beach all have fantastic local restaurants that feature dishes to suit most tastes. If a dish is not on the menu - just ask, you will be amazed.
Popular excursions include Elephant treks, Phang Nga bay tours, sea cave canoes or white water kayaking (in low season). Jungle treks and cultural tours to the many temples can be arranged. A special trip to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project is always recommended.
Please note: You may be approached to have your photo taken with a cute animal during your stay. Please do not encourage this practise as the animal may be an endangered species and almost certainly was removed from its mother illegally.
This home is ideal for those whom need to be close to the sea. The home is serviced daily by our experienced and friendly staff. Daily cleaning and twice weekly linen / towel changes are included. The development on which the home is situated is small and intimate with friendly interaction made possible at the beaqchfront pool area.
The apartment emphasises the importance of outdoor living whilst maintaining functional and comfortable living areas.
A number of the local restaurants will deliver to the house or even prepare you a private seafood beach BBQ. If you wish to cook at home, the fully equipped kitchen is ideal. Chefs can be arranged on request.
Being on a managed development, there is 24 hour security and emergency assistance if required. There is a site office with computer / fax facilities. Each home has IDD telephones and operator assistance.
