World Heritage listed for their stunning beauty and ecological value to the planet, the Great Barrier Reef offers snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing tours from Port Douglas while the Daintree Rainforest offers river cruises along the Daintree River, horseback riding along the beach and 5 star dining at Cape Tribulation.
Historical Cooktown, home of the wild 1880's goldrush days and the place where Captain James Cook repaired his ship "The Endeavour", is also withing a 1/2 days drive.
