'The Court', situated in the village of The Pludds, is a beautiful cottage, built c. 1635 and surrounded by the ancient Royal Forest of Dean, the forest was so named because the 'Royals' once used it as their hunting ground for deer. The property consists of 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin , 1 bunk), bathroom, lounge and kitchen diner with utility room.The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave, 4 ringed electric cooker and washer/dryer. T.V. and music centre also for your use in the comfortable lounge.
'The Court' is full of it's own history as it used to be a court and also believed to once be a public house. Being one of the oldest houses in the area the adjoining stables were said to be the main stables for stage coach and mine carts for the area.

Plenty of attractions to visit within a ten mile radius of the village of The Pludds, including a picturesque railway through the forest,visitor centres, old coal mine workings, caves and many more to explore. The Severn and Wye Valley are in the close vicinity boasting even further picturesque walks.
