This charming, two bedroom cottage forms part of the owners' house yet features its own private entrance, BBQ terrace, roof terrace with sea views and a lovely swimming pool set in mature gardens. It is located on the edge of a very quiet residential area surrounded by lush green countryside, still only 4 km to a choice of 3 gorgeous beaches and with the local town of Aljezur only 10 minutes drive away. There you can find a range of shops, restaurants, markets, banks and the post office in a very typical Portuguese setting.
The entrance is via a private path through a delightful garden to the front door, opening into a fully furnished living / dining room with colour satellite television and music centre. To the left is bedroom 1 with two single beds and built in wardrobes. Bedroom 2 leads off to the right of the living room through a curtained archway and has two more single beds whilst at the end two steps lead down to a bathroom fitted with both a shower and a bath on two different levels. The separate kitchen is to the right, fully equipped with cooker, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets and the front door has an extra screen door too.
Outside there is a lovely raised patio area with a shaded table and seating and a barbecue. Around the side of the house steps lead up to the roof terrace and wonderful views of the countryside to the sea. A gated path leads to the very secluded pool area, (shared only with the owners at 7a.m) with sun-loungers around a great 8m x4m salt water swimming pool.
Casa Helen is the perfect setting for that quiet, relaxing holiday in one of Portugal's most picturesque National Park areas.
