Property Details of Auvergne Gite
La Vironne is situated on the edge of the pretty village of Cunlhat, the property which adjoins the owners house comprises of three spacious (70m2) self-contained gites each can sleep 6/7 people. They are all heated and comprise of two bedrooms (1 x double/twin and 1 x triple with a double & single), a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and cooker, a dining area, lounge with sofa-bed, TV, video (videos available for hire) and hi-fi, shower room and WC.
One of the gites has an extra junior bed and cots, highchairs and a buggy are available on request.
Bed linen and towels are provided (guests are asked to provide their own pool towels)
There are washing machines on site for which there is a charge.
There is a large pool (5m x 12m) with a BBQ and sheltered terrace; the gardens with volleyball, badminton, boules, table tennis and children's play area are for you to enjot at your leisure.
Local Area DetailsAll amenities, restaurants and leisure activities including a plan d'eau are a short walk from the property in Cunlhat village.
Cunlhat is a 20 minute drive from the medeival market town of Ambert and Clermont Ferrand known as the capital of the region is an hour away as is Theirs, Issoire and the spa town of Vichy.
The area is outstanding for mountain biking, hiking, mountain climbing, there are lakes to swim, sail and windsurf and others where you can fish or go white water rafting.
There are some excellent golf courses in the region too.
Skiing is available at Besse and Mont Dore, cross country skiing available around Ambert.
