Local Area DetailsThis area of the Costa de la Luz is particularly attractive with its spectacular, endless, clean beaches and its amazingly beautiful and diverse interior. A far cry from most of the other Spanish coasts it is largely underdeveloped and unspoilt with only one or two exceptions and therefore extremely popular with the Spanish themselves.
Short winters and a mild climate allow residents and visitors alike to enjoy lots of time outdoors. Be it for playing golf, kite surfing, strolling along white sandy beaches, horse riding, taking part in a local fiesta or just enjoying some tapas and a glass of ?vino tinto? in one of the local bars, there are plenty of activities to choose from.
The region is authentic Andalucia, steeped in Spanish and Moorish history and culture. Ideal for those who wish to experience the real Spanish way of life away from the package holiday scene.
