The Riverside Cottage history
Our Country Cottage was a starter home built by the owner fifty years ago on a bank of the beautiful Baddeck River.
Fish are jumping and the living is high. The Baddeck River is a bird watchers paradise. Songbirds abound the area, as well as kingfishers, ducks, geese, etc. Bald Eagles can often be heard; and often seen soaring in the sky.
The evenings are lovely to sit in the glass fronted sunroom or out on the screened in porch both overlooking the river. If you are lucky you'll see a beaver or muskrat swim by then again perhaps a canoer or a kayaker out for a paddle.
