Whiritoa is 10 minutes south of Whangamata. The township is quiet and relaxed, with a typical kiwi flavour. The north end of the beach has a lagoon that is a perfect place for children to swim. The beach is stunning, white glistening sand, and is patrolled throughout the holiday season. Wonderful walks to secluded beaches, excellent fishing from beach. The south end of the beach has walks to the blow hole.

The house sleeps ten comfortably. It has two toilets and two showers. Washing machine, dish washer, full size billiard table, dart board, canoe, and life jackets. There is a great indoor/outdoor feel to the house, with BBQ.

Local Area Details

Coromandel is rich in history. The historic town of Waihi (15 minutes south) is famous for its Goldmining and art and crafts. Whangamata is a well known beach resort, with a range of beach related activites including deep sea fishing tours, water skiing etc. Coromandel is also well known for its unique floral and fauna.
