Our 7 bedroom executive pool home comes equipped with the following luxuries that we think sets our villa apart from any other. We wanted our villa to offer the most luxurious and comfortable experience that you can find in the Disney Area and that is exactly what it offers.

The setting

Our villa is set on one of the most enviable extra large premium plots at the resort that offers extra peace and privacy. From the southerly facing pool deck there are views of the tranquil lake that the villa is situated on and across the lake there are unspoilt woodland and wetland lowland habitat protected areas as far as the eye can see. Birds and other wildlife also love it here and we have observed otters playing in the lakes. Full details of the wildlife and rare species that reside here is available upon request.

The Pool area

We wanted to make more of the pool area than a concrete hole with water so we custom designed the pool area ourselves to create a space with a tropical oasis type feel. The views are stunning and we have complemented the privacy already afforded by the large plot whilst accentuating the lush green nature preserve across from the lake with tropical plants and flowers of our own around the pool area.
The Pool decking has been extended as far as we could go toward the lake ensuring that there is ample room for all our guests and its one of if not the largest deck anywhere at the resort or around. If you want to escape from the Florida sun you will shade under the fans in the Lanai area and ample furniture for all is provided.

The pool was designed to include a large rock waterfall that incorporates the plants and flowers behind it and a compliment of clay pots and urns full of lush green foliage line the side of the screen adding to the seclusion of the area. This, like the games room is still being developed and we are going to be adding to it and the plants are going to get larger and as fantastic as it looks now, it will only get better as it establishes itself. When I next visit I am hoping to run some speakers outside to compliment the evening lighting that lights up the screened area with a versatile atmosphere that suits the party animals or romantics among our guests.

The Villa

This villa comes with seven bedrooms a games room, two living areas and it?s very own private pool. It is a Palm Harbour style villa of the 3 villas in the Harbour range which include a 5, 6 and 7 bedroom. It was designed specifically for this part of the resort to be the more exclusive area of homes on the South facing outskirts of Emerald Island resort. The villa is around 5 minutes walk from the clubhouse or maybe 10 if you take the nature trail

Inside the villa

The furnishings and d飯r we chose for our villa are in two forms. The dining and living room area and indeed the main four master bedrooms all have an elegant and formal style in a timeless design best described or associated with an old French chateau feel.
The kitchen diner and family room however have a much more casual style. The family room boasts rustic pine furniture and top grain leather sofas, the ultimate in leather and the perfect place to enjoy the PS2 or X-Box through the large HD ? High Definition ? television and BOSE digital home theater system. This system rocks and a selection of DVDs Videos and games has been provided for any rainy days.
The childrens rooms also boast a PS2 and X-Box and a range of games to suit any taste has been provided so your peaceful evenings are guaranteed.
The garage has been converted into an air conditioned games room complete with air hockey, foosball and, most importantly, a Brunswick 8ft Pool table with centennial ball and cue set. Finished off with bar lights this room is a still being developed and we hoping to get a bar fitted in very near future.
The villa has a compliment of four master bedrooms. These are all ensuite and have been furnished with king or queen four poster beds with pillow top quality bedding. These beds are so tall and luxurious that you almost need steps to get in and out of them.
The three twin rooms each have an adjoining bathroom also and these are shared with one other twin room. Two of these rooms have been themed, the first with two single four poster beds in a white lacy style for the younger more discerning ladies in the party and the other in a cowboy and Indian style to suit the younger gentlemen of the group.
The other twin room has is in a neutral style. Apart from the top bunk in the boys room all beds have pillow-top quality mattresses with unrivalled comfort. It?s like sleeping on a cloud. Unfortunately because the mattresses are so thick the top bunk railings in the boy?s room would have been too low to put such a mattress in here so we upgraded as best we could. We apologise to larger parties of more than fourteen and we realize that most seven bedroom homes cater for sixteen persons but we feel that a sofa bed does not offer the comfort and quality in either seating or sleeping that we are offering at this villa. I would not want the hassle of making up a bed each evening and taking it down each morning and having less than comfortable nights sleep for a week or two and this would have been a compromise in an otherwise uncompromising vacation experience.


What?s included?

Tax ? Tourist taxes at 12% are included in the prices quoted

Cleaning ? Included in the price of a weekly stay is a mid-week clean with towel / linen change. As far as I know this is the only villa where you get this as a matter of course and although it?s only once a week or every 3 / 4 days for longer stays it?s nice to be pampered a little. For those guests who would like to be pampered on a daily basis or every other day this can also be arranged for $70 a visit.

Telephone ? No calls have been barred on the telephones and normal use of the phones is included in the price of the villa.

Spa heating ? Electric spa heating is included in the price of your stay

Pool heating ? For stays of two weeks or more pool heating is included. In some cases for promotional purposes we may include pool heat in the price for shorter stays

Barbeque ? At our villa this is provided for you and you can cook until Al Fresco and his friends are all fat, happy and contented.

Video games ? A selection has been provided that should cover most tastes.

We know from experience that you and your guests can?t stay in better accommodation or at a finer location in the Disney area. I know what I want when I go on holiday with my family. Do you?

Local Area Details

The Resort

Emerald Island resort is an extremely prestigious and exclusive secure gated community nestled on an upland tropical oasis area set within 360 acres of stunning nature preserve and comes equipped with 11 acres of protected woodland offering nature trails and a friendly clubhouse. Its so close to Disney that the Post Office actually give it the address of Celebration instead of Kissimmee. Celebration is Disneys own housing development scheme located to the south of the main theme parks on Disneys land but alas none of these homes can be licensed for Short Term rentals. At the clubhouse you will find all the things that a 5 star hotel reception has to offer including an information desk, communal pool with tiki bar, Gym, sauna, cyber caf鬠games arcade, tot lot for the younger guests and for the more adventurous, tennis and volleyball courts. A sundries shop and DVD hire etc is to be added in the near future. The resort style living at Emerald Island Resort has something to offer to all of the family and is so much more than a housing estate. Membership of the resort for you and your party is included in the package and you are free to use all amenities as much or as little as you wish.
Less than a mile from the resort entrance are golf clubs if thats your interest and in the other direction the 192 with all its attractions. The Outback Steakhouse, Carrabbas Italian restaurant and many more are all situated less than a mile away as is the nearest supermarket
