Carefully restored in two late 19th century nearby palaces, they are located in a tranquil area within walking distance from the magic attractions of the city centre.

At the Johlea three floors of two neighbouring 19th-century buildings were restored, producing twelve bedrooms of varying sizes for guests (Johlea I and II). Lea has a real flair for decorating and, as in someone?s home, each well-proportioned bedroom retains its own character.

The bedrooms, individually decorated with Tuscan upholstery and beautifully furnished with antique furniture, are provided with air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, courtesy set.

All are very cosily appointed in muted soft colours, with occasional antique, Oriental carpets, paintings by the owner, and original tiled or parquet floors. There is someone on duty all day to assist guests with their needs.

Both I and II have a common living room for guests, with 'I' having a delightful flower-potted terrace with dreamy views over Florence?s rooftops to the cupola of the Duomo.

After an exhausting day sightseeing / shopping, these tranquil Residenze are the ideal places to recuperate: you can help yourself to drinks from the ?honesty fridge? in the communal area, or relax on the roof terrace as the sun sets over the city?s historic skyline. It?s like staying in a friend?s elegant yet comfortable home ? and at very friendly rates.
