The region of St. Paul Trois Chateaux is known for its authentic Provencal warm hospitality, its food, and wine, truffle orchards, vineyards and its rich Roman and Provencal history. Grignan and Suze-la-Rousse are villages nearby with exquisite chateaux. The Chateau at Grignan the preferred vacation lodge of the Marquise de Sevigne is a visit not to be missed. Avignon the ancient seat of the Popes, and the site of the largest theatre festival in Europe in July is a 30 minute drive.

Other activities include descending the Ardèche river in canoe or kayak; hiking, horseback riding; visiting the local markets in Pierrelatte, St. Cécile les Vignes, Valréas and St. Paul.
