Giulietta is a large 17th century cottage on an idyllic listed chateau Domaine with a large pool and a fully equipped health spa. The Domaine de Peyloubere is a beautiful 17th century Gascony estate set in 35 acres of woodland, lakes, gardens and tall trees. Giulietta is one of 5 cottages on the estate, and it has been refurbished and re-equipped over the past few years to incorporate modern comforts while maintaining its original period timbered character. The cottage has its own private garden and shares the large 12 x 6m heated fresh water swimming pool and the health spa - which includes a sauna, balneotherapy spa and sunbathing terrace. Giulietta is a charming, spacious cottage on two floors, suitable for up to six people. French windows lead from the shady walled garden into the kitchen with modern island unit. Wide steps take you through into the large living room where exposed stone walls, rustic beams and the iron manger are evidence of its previous use. There are three spacious bedrooms, two with twin beds and the master bedroom with large double bed, ensuite shower room and balcony facing the evening sunset. There are also loungers, tables and chairs around the pool and in the Spa garden. Cots and high chairs are available free of charge, and a television/video recorder can be hired upon request. The cottage has its own garden furniture and BBQ.

Local Area Details

Peyloubere is situated in the Department of the Gers in South West France. The 35-acre estate lies just outside the village of Pavie which is 10 minutes south of Auch, the historic and vibrant capital of Gascony. The nearest airport of Toulouse Blagnac is 55 minutes from Auch; Pau is a 90 minute drive, and Carcassone and Bordeaux are about two hours away. Auch itself has around 70 restaurants and all of the other facilities that one would expect of a departmental capital.
