A well equipped kitchen includes washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and ample matching crockery and glasses etc.Outside there are sea views on three sides and mountain views to the rear. A large enclosed garden makes it a safe area for the kids to play and, during the summer months a childrens pool is available on request. Local Area DetailsAlthough a car is advisable on any holiday in Madeira, Casa do Ingles is situated only 250 metres from a taxi rank. The beach at Ponta do Sol is only an 8 minute drive away, and the new facilities include natural pool, marina for 300 boats, and a super promenade in nearby Madalena do Mar, where you will surely feel the urge to keep fit as you wander along, relaxed, in the sea air. For the experienced visitor to Madeira,levada walking is a favoured activity. Casa do Ingles is ideally situated for this purpose. Only 2 or 3 minutes walk away are a bank, pizzeria, souvenir shop and 2 supermarkets, the smaller of which has an english speaking owner. An important religious monument is nearby and mass is sometimes held there. The local church is within view and well worth a visit. New roads around the island mean that Casa do Ingles is less than an hour from almost any activity including golf, game fishing, water sports and dont forget that if you are feeling lazy the weather is good for most of the year.
