Apartments are located near the beach and the town, inside a 5000 m² private farm. Each apartment is fully independent, with separate entrances, and surrounded by exuberant gardens with fruit trees. Shopping facilities, open air market and restaurants can be found in 600 meters, in the village of Santo Andre. Fine sandy beach and dunes of Lagoon Santo Andre are a 2,5 Km drive.
Guests share a large BBQ place, a swimming pool and extensive terraces with garden furniture.

Local Area Details

Lagoon Santo Andre, located in the county Santiago de Cacem is the largest lagoon of the Alentejo's coast.

Near the ocean, it is surrounded by a kilometres long sandy shore, and is adequate for windsurfing, angling and other leisure activities. Old traditional fishing boats can still be observed, and it constitutes an ecological treasure as nesting area for several migrating bird species.

Its water is of medium quality, reaching temperatures above the ocean water. Special attention should be given to dangerous pit spots and to the possible existence of lost fishing nets in the bottom.
Every year, during the high tides season, a channel to the ocean is opened with heavy earthmoving machinery, therefore renovating its water and its fauna.
In a fish rich area, visitors should taste some of the delicatessen of the Alentejo's coast, such as fish stew and eel bouillabaisse.
