La Cour is an old stone cottage dating back to 1830. It is semi-detached with our own but has its own private garden. It is set in two acres of enclosed land which is ideal for games and BBQ's. The cottage was renovated in 2002 and has recently undergone refurbishment. It comprises of a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven etc. There is a lounge/dining area with a large stone fireplace and woodburner, and a WC. Upstairs there is two good size bedrooms and a shower room. La Cour is very comfortably furnished and also comes provided with a BBQ and patio furniture to enjoy the long summer evenings.

Local Area Details

La Cour is situated on the outskirts of the pituresque village of Plouezec. It is only a 15 minute walk away. The closest beach is only a 3 minute drive away.

The harbour town of Paimpol is less than 10 minutes by car and is home to excellent harbourside restaurants, a bustling market and superb 16th century houses.

Plouha is a family resort which is just 10 minutes away and enjoys a 14 km long coastline. It is a lovely town that boasts 5 superb beaches that is ideal for nature lovers, diving, canoeing, sailing, fishing and swimming. A network of trails are there for walking, cycling and horse-riding.

You can can a steam train through the Trieux Valley between Paimpol and Pontrieux. It gives you a chance to admire scenery and stops off at some of the beautiful villages inbetween.

Abbey of Beauport(Paimpol) was founded in the 13th century and is set in beautiful woodland and by the sea. There is entertainment throughout the year including historical talks, guided tours, nature rambles and folktale evenings.

To amuse the children there are a number of activitiesall within an hour or so driving distance, including wildlife parks, leisure and theme parks, outdoor childrens festivals, numerous cycle paths and beaches to swim and build sandcastles.

This is just a few of the things to do in this area, as there are too many to mention, but there is something for everyone.
