Local Area Details

Moraira, the " Saint - Tropez of the Costa Blanca". You can find it between Calpe and Denia, approximately one hour drive north of Alicante Airport (El Altet). It is an old fishing village. It is unique because it has managed to hold on to its traditional look while still being a modern center for tourism. High rise buildings are forbidden in the town.

Moraira has one large and two smaller beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim and sunbathing even in the very busy summer season. There is a modern Marina where you will find possibilities for sailing, diving waterskiing and fishing.

There are many more activities for the whole family in Moraira and her surroundings. You can play golf, tennis, go-cart, bowling and mini-golf. Even for the youngsters there are disco's.

You can find plenty restaurants in Moraira, some of them are recommended by the famous Michelin Guide. If this is too expensive for your holiday budget, there are many restaurants where you can eat for a reasonable price on the terraces along the sea front.
