Comfortable, country style furnishings, a well equipped self-catering kitchen with all major appliances, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, vegetable steamer, coffee makers, blender etc. Spacious indoor dining table seats 8 comfortably. Gas BBQ (propane included) and shaded patio for outdoor dining, steps from the beach.

All three double bedrooms and sleeping loft are stocked with 100% cotton linens and towels, feather and down pillows and duvets. Each bedroom has ample closet wardrobe space and dressers. AC in the master bedroom, fans in all other rooms.

Galleried Living Room on the 2nd floor leads to wraparound sundeck with magnificent views. Includes satellite TV (120 channels), DVD/ VHS/ CD players, local phone service and a selection of books and games. Ground floor laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing. Two full bathrooms, one ensuite with the master bedroom (shower, lavatory, wash hand basin), one family bathroom with bathtub, separate shower cubicle, lavatory and wash handbasin. Outdoor shower.

Local Area Details

The North Fork is well known for its vineyards and wineries, excellent boating and calm, sandy beaches. Located only 2 hours from Manhattan, Southold is a rural farming community offering fresh produce from Spring through Fall direct from the farms.

Rent kayaks and small boats, swim off your beach, dive, snorkel, horse ride, play golf, fish, browse small villages, antique shops, lighthouses, historic homes, and enjoy fine dining on local seafood.

Take the ferry from Greenport to Shelter Island (10 minutes) and the Hamptons (another 4 minutes) or stop in Greenport, a historic seaport village and take a ride on the Victorian Carousel, skate on the outdoor rink overlooking the harbor, hire a boat.

There are numerous special events held throughout the year, including First Night, July 4th in Mitchell park, Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, Christmas. In addition, Splish Splash Water park and a world class Aquarium are a short drive away in Riverhead, which also offers boat trips.

Limitations: A car is necessary to fully appreciate the area and get around. There's no smoking inside the house and we do not accept pets, no exceptions.
