La Maison de la Burliere is a three storey typical provencal village house originally built in the 18th century and now completely and very sympathetically renovated. The house faces south and has a pretty vine-shaded courtyard at the front. The courtyard is paved and equipped with garden furniture and a small barbecue. On the ground floor, the living room has an attractive terracotta floor and features an eating area with table and chairs and a dresser and a comfortable area for relaxing with sofa, chairs and television. The small kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, storage cupboards and a washing machine. The winding staircase leads to the first floor with a large double bedded room with a double bed. The room is pleasantly furnished with antique pieces in keeping with the style of the house. The south facing window overlooks the courtyard. The stairs continue up to the third floor where there is a second bedroom with two single beds. From this room french windows lead out onto the lovely roof terrace giving superb views across to the Luberon hills. The house has electric heaters for the cooler months. There is a shower room with wash basin and a separate toilet on the first floor The house is decorated throughout in the colours typical of this unique village giving the house a beautifully warm and sunny feeling.
