Local Area Details

This condo off A1A, a mile south of Marineland, where you can swim with the dolphins. Historic and delightful St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States, is only 20 minutes north. St. Augustine boasts great historic sites, charming shops, art galleries, and great restaurants. Miles of bike paths go north and south of the complex, including to nearby parks and protected nature areas that feature such things as ancient forts and rose gardens.

Water sports abound in the area, including surfing, sailboarding, jet skiing, water skiing, boating, kayaking, fresh water fishing, surf fishing, and deep sea fishing. Lots of folks just like to go down to the beach, relax and listen to the waves. Just a few minutes north, drive onto the beach and go for miles.

There are lots of great restaurants nearby, especially good for seafood.

The golfing possibilities in the area are endless. There are many excellent courses nearby, including Ocean Hammock Golf Club, a spectacular seaside course that is often compared to Pebble Beach. And the World Golf Hall of Fame is only 45 minutes north.

Daytona Beach is 30 minutes away, Kennedy Space Center is 60 minutes, and Disneyworld is 90 minutes. If you're flying in, Daytona Beach International Airport (DBIA) is 30 minutes, Jacksonville's JAX is an hour away.
