The house has 3 bedrooms, one king with ensuite and two twins. All have duvets and sheets. Remote control fans are fitted in each bedroom.

There is a main bathroom on the first floor fitted withbath, shower, wc and bidet. There is also a shower room on the ground floor.

A large fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. From the kitchen leads to a solarium where a washing machine is located.

A lounge/dining room is located at the front of the house. Patio doors from the dining room leads out to a terrace area. The house faces direct South so is perfect for the sun worshipper.

Local Area Details

The house is located 2 minutes from the sea. Here you will find fanastic views of Fuerteventura and the coastline of Lanzarote.

A ten minute walk will find you in new Marina, Marina Rubicon. This hosts many resturants and shops.

Ten minutes the other way you will find the famous beaches of Papagayo.

Playa Blanca town itself is a twenty minute walk along the paved coastal walk. Here you will many different types of resturants from Chinese to local tapas bars. There is also a number of shops.

Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.

About Beaches

The house is located in the South of the Island in the resort of Playa Blanca. This resort boasts the most beautiful beach of all of Lanzarote, Papagaya. This fantastic white beach is a must for beach lovers. You can access via a boat taxi or by car.

About Scenery/Beauty Spots

As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions during the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian', so much so that parts of 'Planet of the Apes' were shot here. The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions. Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua. Despite the Volcanic nature of the island, Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo. Timanfaya National park is a must-see for any visitor to Lanzarote. 50 km² of Volcanic Landscape and Craters, as well as the 'El Diablo' Restaurant where traditional Canarian food is cooked in a natural volcanic oven. La Cueva de los Verdes forms part of a spectacular and complex system of caves formed by underground Lava flows. Jameos del Agua is a cave complex that includes a natural Concert Hall with wonderful acoustics, subterranean lagoon, a restaurant and a museum. El Golfo is a volcanic crater filled by sea water. The deep green colour is caused by algae in the water. Los Hervideros is a series of caves and blow holes located in a Lava Flow. The Cactus Garden was created by local artist, the late Cesar Manrique, and features an impressive collection of Cacti and sculptures and a restored Windmill

About Local Restaurants

Playa Blanca has a number of different resturants offering all kinds of cuisine from Tapas to Chinese, Italian to Indian. All resturants cater for children as the Spanish themselevs are extremely family orientated. The new marina, 10 minute walk from the house, offers a whole range of eating places from snack bars to resturants to bars.
