The lounge is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, easy arm chair, coffee-table, side board, dining table and 4 chairs. The south facing terrace overlooks the breathtaking and picture postcard tidal estuary, the rolling green hills and majestic mountain range of the `Picos de Europa´. There is a large lawn garden to enjoy, with fruit orchard and barbecue with picnic bench.

YOUR HOSTS Carol and Luis González: My wife Carol, from Devon in UK and myself Luis having lived in Almeria in the south of Spain since 1980, decided to escape the hot, dry and crowded summer conditions of the south by building a house in the greener and cooler lands of the North where I was born. Due to our social nature, to avoid boredom and keep the accountant happy, we decided to attach two self-catering apartments to the house where we could welcome guests. For those who would like to share our love for the most stunning, green and mountainous landscapes of Asturias, we have taken the utmost care to make `La Valdesa´ as cosy and comfortable as possible for our guests.
Local Area DetailsLA VALDESA, rural country apartments that consist of two self catering apartments semidetached onto the owners summer home. Construction was completed in January 2003, carefully following architectural guidelines for the typical northern Spanish home. A country farm house built from reclaimed sand stone and beamed wooden ceilings, in keeping with the surroundings of our charming farming location. Set into over half an acre of lawn gardens and orchards, the site was carefully chosen for its peaceful secluded location and stunning views, within minutes from the sea and all amenities.
LA VALDESA apartments are in a small hamlet called Liñero, within the municipality of the larger market town of Villaviciosa, located in the province of ASTURIAS on the northern Atlantic coast known as `La Costa Verde´ approximately 1½ hours drive from Santander and just below the `Picos de Europa´ mountain range. Asturias is truly one of the most unspoilt regions in Spain. A Nature Paradise situated between the ocean and the mountains.
