seating,and a large farmhouse table to seat 8+ persons .
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 twin singles and bunk bedroom upstairs and a twin
single downstairs. A fold-up bed and cot are available with the gite, also high chair and a buggy.
It has a roomy high pressure shower with w.c/vanity unit and an extra
separate w.c
There are two gazebos in the garden for shade, under which are garden tables
and 6 chairs with each, with two brick bbq. close by, and tables and chairs with
umbrellas at the front of the gite for the first cup of tea of the day or the
last few drinks of a candle lit balmy evening while keeping an ear open for
the sleeping children.
The pool is 30ft long, 15ft wide and approx 4ft deep, ideal for swimming,
splashing about or just keeping cool and is above ground making it safer for
children.

Local Area Details

Because the gites are situated at the end of a small settlement of 6 houses with
friendly neighbours ( who only speak French but love to meet visitors) ,
there is total privacy and tranquillity.
It provides a true rural French way of life and is unspoilt by tourism,
there are empty roads, brilliant night skies, abundance of wild life,
inexpensive excellent village restaurants and wonderful local produce
markets.
There is so much to discover in this undiscovered part of France. The
immediate area offers fishing, canoeing, walking, horse riding, rock
climbing and mountain biking in the beautiful river gorge 10 mins away, an
international go-karting track, and a quiet little village with rural bar
and small supermarket. All shopping and leisure needs are met in the nearby
town of Argenton Chateau. A short car ride will take you to the famous Puy
du Fou, the fantastic natural zoo in Doue la Fontaine, Troglodyte villages,
Loire valley and Saumur. A little further La Rochelle and the coast,
Futuroscope, and the Loire Chateaux.
