Property Details of Venice Bed and Breakfast
Our names are Marcello (Italian) and Karin (Dutch), and since 2001 we have been living in this beautiful farmhouse with large garden, in the Veneto region, near Venice. We spent the whole of 2002 renovating the farmhouse to turn it into a cosy Bed & Breakfast.
The rooms for the guests are upstairs and the breakfast room is downstairs where once the stable was. The breakfast room has a larch archway of glass which illuminates the whole room.
We have called our Bed & Breakfast "il Tulipano" (tulip) after this simple, yet beautiful flower with a multitude of brightly coloured petals. This gives us quite a lot to live up to, also because a tulip radiates energy and joy. Moreover, it is a symbol of our ties with Holland.
