The area itself is steeped in Celtic myth and legend. Ancient standing stones can be found in close proximity. A visit to the nearby Crozon Peninsula with its spectaculary rugged coastline should not be missed. The traditional fishing ports of Douarnanez and Camaret are also within easy reach as is the lake at Huelgoat set in ancient woodland.
